Arts Center

We envision the Arts Center on Kent Avenue in Brooklyn, NY as a nexus for community interaction. The Center's mission is to be a gathering place that fosters emerging voices from the fields of music and the plastic arts. Music, painting, sculpture and cinema come together under one roof to provide a platform for the creative exchange of ideas. New structural openings in the existing building’s basement, first and second floor slabs allow for both visual and physical interaction. A music/film-screening venue as well as gallery areas are housed in the cellar of The Center. The first and second floors provide space for galleries, a café and administrative and professional offices.
